Ice & Treasure Diving

Mar 13, 2008: Treasure
dive in Kalamazoo River in front of Coral Gables turned out successful.
Found two cell phones, Bloody Mary Glass, ash tray and lighter, new boat
brush, and a pair of sunglasses. Was fun!!!
Jan 23, 2008: We
will be diving in Gull Lake at Praireville Township Park near Kalamazoo.
Call to confirm that you can make it. Safety Divers and surface supporters
are always welcome, as well as observers too.
Jan 30, 2008: We
will be in the Kalamazoo River competing for the best treasure.
Call to confirm that you can make it. Safety Divers and surface supporters
are always welcome, as well as observers too.
Feb 1, 2008: We
were in the Kalamazoo River. The ice was so thick near shore that our chain
saw could not cut the ice all the way through. The ice that we cut through
was layering of layers of water & ice. Everyone had a good time. After
diving all day we had dinner at Walley's and watched the Super-Bowl.
Feb 8, 2008: We
will be at Gull Lake having fun, doing ice dive open waters, and practicing
with the ROV. People are coming out to celebrate with us that are not even
divers. They just want to be part of the fun. We will be having hot dogs
and hot chocolate and cookies for everyone.
